what kind of salary do you need to be able to raise a family with 2 kids, assuming you are the only money-maker in the family and you want to put your kids through college.

To live comfortably you only need $60,000 for a four member home. But to pay for college you should save $100,000 a piece for the kids by the time they turn 18. That really is not that hard, just figure getting into a got interest rate with good return and save $200 a month per kid for school from the time their born till college years. It is OK for your kids to get into a little debt after school.
